for the 2024 National Junior Clay Target Championships

Registration for the 2024 National Junior Clay Target Championships is open! Information and an event program can be found in the Events section and the events calendar on our website.
Register and pay the entry fees by May 25 to receive one free entry into a drawing for a Stoeger STR-9 9mm handgun!!
(Additional entries can be purchased onsite during the event.)

**JR. YAK UPDATE**
Saturday April 20th
Location: Yakima Valley Sportsmen’s Association (Selah)
Events:
Trap - 16yrd (25 targets)
Handicap – 22yrd (25 targets)
Continental – 16yrd – 1 shoot (25 targets)
Skeet (25 targets)
Sunday April 21st
Location: Split into Sites
Yakima Valley Sportsmen’s Association (Selah)
Red’s Fly Shop Sporting Clay Range in the Yakima River Canyon (It is almost exactly 12miles North from the Selah Gun Club)
We will split the schedule/events into 2 groups…one group will shoot Sporting Clays in the AM then come back to Selah to shoot other events. The second group will start in Selah then move to Sporting Clays. This should allow us to finish at a reasonable time!
Events:
Sporting Clays (50 targets)
They can start shooting as early as 7:00am (so if your kids are up to an early morning – please let us know when registering and we can coordinate the plan for squads this day.
FYI – Red’s Sporting Clay course “recommends Steel Shoot”, however if you cannot find ammo and/or do NOT want to use steel shoot in your guns…we can use lead shoot. I told them I would communicate this point, but they totally understood our situation. 😊
